US – Albania to swap population

Following reports that around 2 million Americans will leave the United States in case Donald Trump is elected to the White House and that 2 million Albanians have played the US Green Card Lottery, the American Government is considering the possibility of a big swap. If it happens, it will be the largest population exchange in history.
The State Department and the White House are already taking steps to facilitate the move. President Obama has met with the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to discuss the issue in talks that had been held top secret. On his part, Prime Minister Rama has visited the United States twice lately, one of the visits under the guise of “watching an NBA game” in Miami. Reliable sources report this was a cover up for the real purpose of the trip – to discuss the details of relocating 2 million of his compatriots to the United States.
Meanwhile, the US Ambassador to Albania, Mr. Donald Lu is clearing the path for the Americans to arrive. Under the banner of “war against corruption” he is paving the way for a big shift of power in Albanian politics, a shift that will be decided mostly by the 2 million Americans that will arrive. Obviously the incoming Americans would be looking for a liberal government, a concept that doesn’t yet exist in Albania.
It is not yet clear how the swap will be implemented. Will it be in several steps, or in just one big move? Are the Albanian families going to switch homes with the American ones? Who decides who will live where? Apparently these are questions yet to be answered.
Asked about this, Presidential Candidate Donald Trump said that he is very happy for the move. He said that he is confident that the 2 million Albanians who will arrive will be all hard line Republicans. According to polls, most of the Albanian population are enthusiastic supporters of Ronald Reagan, George Bush (Senior and Junior), and the Republican Party in general. Trump calculates that this would be a significant number of voters added in his support when he runs for re-election in five years.
